Bob Clark

Born and raised in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Bob started his career in the banking and finance industry which spanned over 20 years. In 1997, Bob relocated with his wife and two young children to the beautiful Annapolis Valley. In 1999, Bob purchased his first local business situated in Greenwood which he owned and operated until it was sold eleven years later. During this time, Bob and his wife Dana worked together to established Annapolis Valley Home Care in 2005. Today Annapolis Valley Home Care Ltd. employs more than 100 individuals serving clients of all ages from Windsor to Digby.

Dana Cole Clark, RHNC

Raised in the Annapolis Valley, after graduation Dana moved to the city to attend college and spent 15 years following in the banking and finance industry. A true nurturer and love of health care led her to a career change in the health care industry. After completing studies in Diet and Nutrition and relocating back to the Annapolis Valley to raise her family with her husband, Dana continued her studies and completed various courses such as Alzheimer’s and Dementia, Palliative Care, Falls Prevention and Positive Aging. After gaining this knowledge, Dana founded Annapolis Valley Home Care in 2005.

When not busy leading the business, Dana loves to spend time with her family, their dogs and walking the beautiful beaches in our province.

Cole Clark

Cole has been working with the company since 2011. Cole studied the business program at Saint Mary’s University.

Over the past few years, Cole has continued his studies in Human Recourses, Marketing and Management through various programs.

Cole currently overlooks business operations and property management. When not at work, he is a full-time Volunteer Firefighter with the local Fire Department.

Madison Hasbini CCA

Director Of Care

Madison started working for the company in 2011 in an administrative role. During her time working in the office, she discovered her passion and she decided to go back to school and studied the Continuing Care program at NSCC in Middleton. Since then, Madison has worked in both home care and long-term care settings.  Madison has a passion for helping individuals stay in their own homes. In 2017, she assumed the role of Care Coordinator with Annapolis Valley Home Care and in 2020, moved into the role of Director of Care.

I am very grateful for the opportunity to assist and ensure those in the community have the opportunity and ability to stay in the comfort of their own homes safely for as long as possible.”


Cathy Whitman

Cathy spent her first 18 years moving around Canada and the United States with her military family before setting down roots in Greenwood.  She attended Dalhousie University to get her Bachelor of Commerce degree and spent the next few years working for the Nova Scotia Government.  After getting married and being posted to Trenton, where she managed the Officer’s Mess bar, Cathy and her husband were posted back to Greenwood.  She gained employment with a local business in Kingston where she stayed for 17 years before joining the Annapolis Valley Home Care team in 2014.  When not at work she enjoys tole painting, jewelry making and looking after her horses.

Lee-Anne has been working with AVHC since September 2020. Lee-Anne graduated from the Continuing Care Assistant program at NSCC; since graduation, Lee-Anne has experience working in-home care, long-term care & acute care in hospital settings.
